Sustainable Design

The Sustainability Committee seeks to educate, inform and inspire design that sustains environmental, economic and social systems. To promote and provide resources and events that enable the practice of sustainable design with clients, vendors and peers.

PAST EVENTS:
(Green)Town was a benefit for the green reconstruction of Greensburg. Simran Sethi, host of the Sundance Channel's The Good Fight, moderated a panel on the green redesign of tornado devastated Greensburg, Kansas. The salon featured BNIM Architects’ urban planner Stephen Hardy and Greentown director Daniel Wallch. The Sundance Channel screened segments from The Good Fight Series. Several local printers were on site and local tastes were provided from Blue Bird Bistro, Eden Alley Café, Local Burger and wine from Benziger Family estates and New Belgium Brewery Beer.
